Marriage

So, I started going to a Bible study last week, and had not actually looked at the book beforehand. One of the first questions was, what is your favorite romantic song? When I am put on the spot like that I can never think, and I could not even think of the song Mike and I had at our wedding! (I should have put you on speed dial on my cell phone, Angie and Amy!) That will teach me to not look at the book next time! :) Anyway, I decided to look up the lyrics to it today. Our Bible study is "Falling in Love With Jesus", and I think it will be good. Anyway, it got me to thinking about a lot of things, one of which being marriage. I am so thankful for Mike, and his promise to me. He has many qualities that I do not have, but wish I did! Such as thinking things through before diving in and realizing what a mess I have. :) So, here is to you, Mike. I love you.

Tile :Geoff Moore And The Distance - If You Could See What I See
All of my life I have dreamed that somehow love would find me. Now I can't believe you're standing here. If beauty is all in the eye of the beholder then I wish you could see the love for you that lives in me. (Chorus)And you would know you have my heart, if you could see what I see. That a treasure's what you are if you could see what I see. Created to be the only one for me. If you could see what I see.I know there are days when you feel so much less than ideal wondering what I see in you. It's all of the light and the grace, your belief in me drives me to say that I promise you a faithful love, forever true(Chorus)If you could see then you'd understand why I fall down to my knees, and I pray my love will be worthy of the one who gave his life so our love could be, if you could see what I see(x2)You're created to be the perfect one for me, If you could see what I see..if beauty is all in the eye of the beholder then I am beholding...true beauty.

Tiff this is truly beautiful. It just made my morning. Thank you for reminding me I need to publically tell Michael I love him.

That's cool. You and Mike are a good balance for each other, I think. Speaking of Bible Study, I haven't done any lessons yet.....better do that:-)

As I was reading through that, I started to think of the words to that song...then couldn't remember what it was called till I got the part where you said it! So speed dial might not have been much help...unless I was near a computer to look it up! :)
...great post!

I liked this! It is something we sometimes forget when you have kids and get busy in our lives!
