Bathroom Renovations- Part 2

So, it's been awhile since I posted about the first part of our bathroom project...we, and when I say "we", I mean mostly Mike, finished up at the beginning of September with the bathroom downstairs. Here are some before and after pictures.

Okay, once again, more like "during" pictures....I didn't get down there with the camera before Mike started tearing things down.

We had a mold issue, so I was glad to get that problem fixed!

After...I pretty much just painted everything and helped Mike hold things, etc....This was his first tiling job (and according to him his last in a shower! haha!), and I think he did great!

Chase County Fair

We had a lot of fun at the fair this year. All of the cousins were there together, and got to go on rides together.

Kitchen "Helper"

When I am in the kitchen (Which is a lot!) Micah seems to think he needs to help me. Here are just a couple of examples of the kinds of things he likes to do.

Climbing

Just a walk down memory lane...The first 3 pictures here are of Collin at almost the exact same age as Micah. He like to climb on the fireplace "step" that we have.

And he also figured out how to get back down without doing a nose dive!

Swimming With Cousins

The kids had their cousins over to swim in the pool. I would say they had fun, because they spent 4 hours straight in there! The boys didn't want me to take their pictures, but I caught them showing off later. :)

Mike and Micah joined the fun too!

Rocking Horse- August 5

Micah found this rocking horse and decided to play with it one day.

He pulled himself up...

But after awhile, the horse didn't like rocking so much, and tipped over on the top of him. He didn't seem to mind too much.

I am so behind on posting on here, so sorry about the many posts about to come! These are just some random pictures from July at our house.

I found Collin and Micah playing in the play pen one day with a whole lot of stuffed animals. They were having a great time!

Lots of Swimming

Our summer has held lots of swimming to keep cool, and have fun! The kids took swimming lessons, and the both passed the level they were on. They learned a lot.

Kendra is good at kicking.....not a surprise for those of us who know her best!

Collin got brave enough to go under water.....wet head to prove it!
