To Infinity And Beyond!

We were in JCPenney yesterday, and Collin saw these pajamas....he was so in love with them, I couldn't say no, and besides, he did need some pajamas. Then, I found out they were on sale, doesn't get any better! He has been going around acting like "Buzz Ightyear". I'll have to try to get a clip of it soon.

He also decided that make up is not just for girls....he had to try out Kendra's pink lipstick. He thought he loooked pretty. :)

1st Grader

Kendra came home today with a sticker that says "I'm and Official 1st Grader"...hard to believe, but true. She was nervous but excited for school this morning. She had a good day, but was a little disappointed that she didn't get 3 recesses like in Kindergarten. :)
This is last year....when I took her picture this morning, I had a flashback of this, and how big her backpack seemed a year ago. Made me a little teary eyed.

"Sanamander"

Mike found a salamander at work yesterday and brought it home for the kids to see. We took care of it until bedtime, and then let it go. Collin called it a "sanamander".

Fresh Cut Flowers

My wild flowers are going crazy right now, so I have been taking advantage of it. It brightens my days!

Playhouse Fun

Collin got this playhouse last year for his birthday, and we played for it for awhile, and then it was taking up space, so I put it away. I got it out for the kids the other day, and they had a blast. They played puppets, store, house, post office....

Collin even took his nap there.

County Fair

We went to the fair a couple of days. The kids had a lot of fun on the rides, and seeing the animals.

This was Kendra's favorite ride....Maycee wasn't so sure.

We went to the parade on Saturday.

Time At the Lake

We went to the lake last Sunday afternoon and evening. Our church was having a picnic and baptismal service. We took the boat, and some food, and had a great time. I always like to see the people being baptised and hearing their testimonies of how they came to know the Lord, and what He is doing in their lives.

Summertime

We have spent a lot of time in the pool this summer...it is so nice to be able to put on the swimsuits and go out the back door to the pool. I am so not ready for the cooler weather to hit.

Kendra lost her other front tooth.

She also wanted goggles really bad, so I told her if she wanted them bad enough she could buy them with her own money. And, as you can see....she did! It makes me laugh when she puts them on.

St. Patricks Day

I made an order from Oriental Trading way back in February, and it came with this free St. Patricks Day blow up limbo thing. Well, Kendra saw it right away, and wanted to use it. I kept using the excuse that you have to put water in the bottom to make it stay, but the other day that excuse was no longer working. So, I blew it up for some backyard entertainment. It worked just dandy as long as I stood there and held the "stick" up. :)

Helping Dad

Mike was edging the lawn the other day, and Collin decided to go and get his truck to help out.

Birthday Party

The kids were invited to a friend's birthday party a couple of weeks ago. They had lots of fun.

They played a game where you had to see how fast you could dress and undress the baby. Collin wasn't quite sure about that one. :)

They had water balloons and were supposed to see how high and long they could bounce them in the towels....Collin was more interested in seeing them burst. I'm sure his partner loved that!
