Our Weekend

We had a really full weekend at our house. Saturday we had a garage sale at our house with Marty and Renee. The kids sold cookies, muffins, treats, and lemonade. Kendra said she feels rich! Then they went swimming together to cool off that afternoon.

Saturday evening, Mike's sister, Becky, and her 2 kids came for a visit from Colorado. They stayed until Monday morning, so we got together as much as possible during that time. All of the cousins came up and went swimming in the pool. It was so much fun! I was in the pool also, so I didn't get any pictures. Here they all are together.

Father's Day

We went to the lake on Father's Day, and then to Mike's parent's house for supper. It was a really fun day, and I am thankful for the fathers that I have in my life!

We got this new "racing boat" to pull behind the boat. It is perfect for little kids. They loved it!

Papa Ron had just as much fun watching the kids as they had riding it I think.

Vacation

We went to the zoo in Omaha last week for a little family vacation. It rained, but we still had a lot of fun. We went shopping, and my kids were very excited by the escalators....you can tell we don't get to the "big city" very often! :)I took tons of pictures, and it was hard to choose which ones to put on here.

This one is kind of hard to see, but they were watching the penguin through a plastic bubble. It got all fogged over.

Flowers

I was outside with the camera the other day, and decided to take some pictures of my flowers. I just thought they looked pretty after the rain. Once, again...the first picture got turned around when I put it on blogger...if anyone can tell me how to keep that from happening, I would love to know!!

Saturday

Mike went out to his brother's house today to help him work on the combine, so I decided to take the kids to the parade in Palisade this morning. The kids had a lot of fun.

And, got a lot of goodies!

Then after we got home, the kids decided that they wanted to "deliver" newspapers. I found some old papers, and they went to work.

Then, Collin decided his bike needed worked on. He was asking for a hammer and a screwdriver. This all came from the episode of Curious George where he was delivering papers, and his bike broke when he hit a rock. :)

Fishing

Marty and Renee were going to the lake yesterday evening to fish, and invited us to go along. We had a great time.

Swimming!

It has been cool and cloudy here, but Saturday was nice and warm. We got a swimming pool last Fall, thanks to a friend letting us know about it, and filled it Saturday. The kids wanted in right away, and talked me into it too. It was a little cold, since it had just come straight from the hose, but we had fun! They were in there pretty much all day. I have a video that I may try to put on of this also. Full of laughs! :)

Daily Happenings

VBS Week

The week after Memorial Day was VBS week. We also went to the circus in McCook. It was a fun week, but we all got a little tired at our house! :)

Memorial Day Weekend

We went to North Platte on Memorial Day weekend. We had a good time, and I got flowers bought for the added landscaping that we did.

We went to Cody Park for a little bit. Collin was all happy that he got a hot dog and juice for lunch! :)
