Collin just made himself right at home amongst the crowd of people watching the diving contest at the pool. He pushed this boy's head over when he walked up!!

We had Ashton and Maycee over the other night while their parents went to the movie with the youth group. It was fun, and they all played together really good. Here they are playing with the blocks. 
Mike and I had our 8th Anniversary on the 24th. We sent the kids to grandma's house, and grilled steaks, and just spent time together. It was a really good time of fun and reflecting on our 8 years together! Mike got me roses, and they are absolutely gorgeous....they are all velvety ( a word??!), and are opening up so pretty. 
It was one of those days yesterday...Collin was into all kinds of things. He got his snacks all dumped out....
Was working on getting them all eaten...
Took them for a ride.....
Then found Kendra's purple lipgloss, and had it EVERYWHERE!
This is Collin's favorite hang out lately. He goes in our room and spends a long time in front of the mirror looking at himself. I thought it made a cute picture, especially if you don't look at the reflection too closely to see I don't make my bed!! Ha!Kendra went to VBS at the Methodist church last week. She had lots of fun, especially since Maycee, Tommy, and Trace all went too. The first day was "Dive into Obedience", and Kendra took it to heart! She would get ready for bed without being asked...clean her room, etc...then say "Mommy, I'm obeying you!" The best was when on trash day I had already taken the kitchen trash out, and she came into the kitchen later and opened the cabinet, and got all upset. I asked her what was wrong, and she said..." I was going to take out the trash for you like they said at Bible School!" It was funny, but nice! :) They did really good with the songs and motions. I have some pictures, but the red eye was horrible...I couldn't get it out.
Collin is finally walking part of the time now...he has a limp, but it is doing much better. Here is a picture of him standing on it right after his nap today. 
Kendra and the boys...I had Kendra, Collin, Tommy and Trace all in Jeremy's pickup moving. That was quite interesting!! :) The kids all had fun.
We did a few fireworks when Mike got in from the field...Kendra couldn't wait for Daddy to get home, she was so excited. This is about how exciting ours got, then we watched the neighbors that spent some money!!
The kids played in the sandbox a long time that evening waiting for Daddy to get home.We went to the park this morning, and I got Renee to take some pictures of the kids for me. She did a great job. Thanks, Renee!
This is how Collin is with his leg. He is crawling, but still won't stand on that foot. It helps that he is crawling, though!
Collin got his leg caught in the slide at the park last night, and we ended up taking him to the E.R. to have it checked out. They didn't xray it, because they say that in kids as young as him, there is too much cartilage, and it doesn't show much. The doctor didn't think anything was broken, just a little muscle strain. He cried a lot during the night, and isn't any better today. He won't stand on that leg, so it has been a trying day! Hopefully it is better soon. It's hard to see him hurting, and hard to carry his 21.6 pounds around everywhere!! :)
Collin wasn't sure about the water at first, but he got used to it, and the float toy really helped...he kept playing with the front of it and saying "ball" over and over!
