Fun in the Snow

The kids and I played in the snow on Monday. It was fun.

Kendra tried making snow angels, but the snow was a little too crusted for that.

At first, Collin was happy to watch Kendra and give her a push down the hill.

Before long, he realized how fun it was to ride with her, and have her pull him back up the hill.

Christmas Day

We had dinner on Christmas day at our house. We were going to go to my mom's, but the weather wasn't too great to be on the roads. It was a day full of food, fun, and relaxing.

Christmas Eve

We went to candlelight service at church, and then came home and ate homemade pizza for supper, opened box #7 in the Christmas story, and then opened presents. It was a great evening. I loaded these pictures backwards, so I'll show the night in reverse!

We roasted marshmallows.

Collin got Thomas in Action Canyon....

I think Mike had as much fun with it as Collin did.

I got a really warm Husker sweatshirt.

Collin couldn't wait for Mike to open his presents so he could play with them.

Kendra got the doll that she wanted, except we weren't paying attention and she opened the clothes first. :)

Church Christmas program

Last night was the Christmas program at church. Kendra was an angel and Collin was a cow.

Kendra's 7th Birthday Party

We had Kendra's birthday party yesterday. We had barbecue chicken (Kendra's request) for lunch, and then had cake and ice cream, and she opened her presents. It was another fun, full day!

Grandma Margaret made the cake. She did a great job!

Kendra wanted to cut the cake by herself.

I had a little bit of time to hold Aaden. :)

Kendra said that she got things she didn't even think to ask for! :)

Kendra's treat favors were dog dishes with candy bone treats in them...Collin thought he had to eat them like a dog also.

Weekend Vacation

We went to Grand Island last weekend, and spent some time with Mike's aunt and uncle and family and did some Christmas shopping. It was a really fun trip. We stayed the second night in Kearney, and the kids played on the water slides.

We ate at Culver's before coming home...a special treat. We had to have frozen custard!

Cheer Camp

I have tried to get a video of this put on here, but I can't seem to get it to load. Kendra went to Cheer Camp on Saturday the 5th. She had lots of fun doing it. This is a picture of her cheering at the game that night.

Cookies and Christmas

I baked a bunch of stuff and took to a craft sale last week. Collin had fun helping me....and eating it.

This is where he has to take his nap every day. Right under the Christmas tree. :)
