Conversation With Collin

This is kind of a typical conversation with Collin lately. He is always calling for Daddy, and then he makes his motor sounds to say that he is gone. :) I think it is really funny when he says "Hi!" too.

Coloring Time

Collin was into everything last night. He found a marker and decided to decorate his face. Thank goodness I caught him before he decided to decorate anything else!

Early Birthday

Yesterday my mom brought lunch and a cake down after church to celebrate my birthday early. It was a fun time, and yummy food! Thanks Mom!

Ride Em Cowboy!

Collin has been having fun with his horse lately. He gets on, and we say "giddy up, ride em cowboy!" He just laughs and then rides like crazy. He loves his horse, or should I say his "puppy"....we're working on that one!

Home Projects

These are some recent things we have done in the house. It is a good time to get inside things done when it is cold!

Mike put a light above my kitchen sink so I can see, and is in the process of adding a little more lighting and changing some wiring around so things are more convenient and make more sense...and I don't trip the breaker every time I use more than one kitchen appliance at once! Yeah!!


I redid my laundry/utility room awhile back. Above the washer and dryer was just gross, so I painted and hung curtains to cover up the ugly! All except the nice stove pipe going out the window!

And, I posted some pictures of our family room before, but here is another one.

New Meaning to Bath Pictures!

Tonight I gave Collin a bath and took some pictures because he was having such a good time with the bubbles. I got him out, dried off and dressed. Kendra meanwhile took a bath and got out, but didn't drain the tub. Collin found his way back to the bathroom, and took a second bath...this time in his clothes!

This is fun!

Our Day

Today is my day off, which is good, because we all have colds, so we have been taking it easy. Kendra likes to help me do laundry. She helps me fold, and then takes them to where they need to go with her stroller. Collin loves to stand over the humidifier, and feel his hair blow. Kendra got some new Preschool books, and was working in one this morning.

Pajama Solution

Collin has been escaping out of his pajamas completely through the neck hole, and then waking up because he is freezing cold. So, Mike came up with this solution...black electrical tape around the ankles! So far the pajamas have stayed on, and he has slept all night!

M&M Mess

Collin got up onto the counter today and found the m&ms. Let's just say he had a lot of fun before I knew what had happened. Kendra was upset that almost all of her m&ms were gone, and Collin was upset that he couldn't finish them off!

He was not too happy when he got caught!
