Kendra was sick tonight, so didn't get to go trick or treating. I took Collin out to see a few people in town. He loved it, but was disappointed that Kendra didn't get to go with him. Here he is in his Thomas the Train costume. Later on he was talking in the other room and I had to laugh. It went like this: "Knock, knock...hello...candy!"
Kendra's Halloween party was today at school. I had to work today, but I got to run over to the school to watch the Costume parade.
They had a pumpkin decorating contest. We found this idea for a decoupage pumpkin. Collin and Kendra had fun with glue and tissue paper.
The pumpkin won "cutest pumpkin" award! Kendra was excited.
Renee took our pictures on Monday evening. I think they turned out really good. There are more, but I wanted to keep some a surprise for our Christmas cards! Thank you, Renee for taking our pictures.
We went to Cox's Ponds last weekend...it was so much fun, and a really nice day for it. The kids loved it.
Kendra's friend, Garrett was there too, so they had fun together.

I ordered these stick on pumpkin faces from Oriental Trading for the kids. They loved doing it, especially Collin! and, they glow in the dark!

Kendra is finally all moved into her new bedroom that we started on in June! I know, it took a long time, but she is loving it! Here are some before/during/after pictures.

Mike put in a new fence on one side of the back yard...I am LOVING it!
I did this uppercase living project tonight...I think it turned out pretty cool!
I was outside on my lunch hour...it was a nice afternoon. I just had to snap a picture of my bright yellow mums.
Today was Mike's birthday. This evening we grilled and had cake, and he opened his presents. Then we played games in the basement. It was a fun evening.
The kids helped him blow out candles.
We had to light them a second time.
They also had to help him open his presents.
This is what has been keeping Collin (and sometimes me) busy this week. He has not really done much of this kind of thing before, so not sure why all of the sudden.
He decided to lotion his whole semi truck and himself down...he had it everywhere. All he said when I asked him about it was "mmmm....baby" as he sniffed it!
