Walking Again!

If you recall, Collin hurt his leg on the slide a little over 2 weeks ago. This evening he FINALLY started walking on it! He is still not quite sure, and limps, but it is a huge improvement. I will be so glad when he can walk on his own again all of the time!

The First Day

Today was Kendra's first day of school. She was so excited, and not a bit nervous...don't know where she got that from, because Mike and I would not have been that way! She had lots of fun, and her only complaint was that she had to eat too much for lunch! :) The day flew by for me. I watched Ashton, and before I knew it school was already over for the day.

I think her backpack may be heavier than her!

A Conversation to Treasure

I just had to share this conversation from last night with Kendra:
Mommy: Oh, Kendra, you are going to school soon, and I will miss you so much!
Kendra: I know, I am going to miss you lots too, but it will be close to the bank where you are.
Mommy: Yeah, but on my days off I won't have you at home with me.
Kendra: Oh, yeah, but you know Mommy....even though we can't be together, Jesus is ALWAYS with us.
How precious is that?!

Fishing, Swimming, and Playing

Last Wednesday I took the kids to McCook to do some shopping, and I kind of spoiled them. :) We went shopping, and they both got fishing poles of their choice. Then we got lunch and took it to Barnett Park, and played for awhile. It was a great day together.

Then we decided to go to the pool as a family that afternoon. It happened that Kendra and Collin's cousins were there too, so they had fun together.

Then we went to the park and played again. This picture is fuzzy, but I thought it was cute anyway.

Fair 2008

Okay, so I put these pictures on here in backwards order, so you will have to excuse that! We had fun at the fair this week. Collin got hurt on the slide again, and won't put any weight on that leg, so he wasn't himself, but he still had fun. We are praying it is better soon!

Summer Vacation

We went to the mountains for a little family vacation last week. We took along my mom as a "nanny" of sorts, because we wanted to go to the GMA's Music in the Rockies for a concert. We had a good time all in all in spite of a mix up with our reservation! I just picked some of the pictures I took.....I had a slide made, but I can't get it to work on Blogger for some reason.

Kendra Did It!!

Kendra went under water on our vacation in the hot tub! I was so proud of her! She did it several times after this for longer periods, so I think she has it down! Yay! I tried to put a slide on of pictures from vacation, but I can't get it to work, so I will try later!
