1 Year Check Up

We took Collin to the doctor for his 1 year check up yesterday. He weighs 20 pounds and is 30 inches tall now! He also got shots....not a fun thing, but he did good, especially since they gave him a sucker right aferwards!

Collin's Birthday Party

Collin had lots of fun at his party. He loves all of his new toys, and uses the motor sound with all of them!! He got some cool tools, a set of John Deere toys, some clothes, a rocking horse, Hokie Pokie Elmo, and other stuff! He loved the attention, and was worn out. That was nice because he slept all night!! He is in Kendra's room now, and it is going quite well. I don't know what I was worried about!

Happy Birthday, Baby Boy!

Today Collin turned one...hard to believe! We are having his party on Sunday, but we had a fun day today! Here's what we did today!

Collin has been sleeping in Mommy and Daddy's room for a whole year...tonight is his first night in "his" room with Kendra...I hope it goes good!

Birthday Party Cookout

We had a cookout for Grandma Joyce's birthday on Sunday evening. The weather was nice, and the kids had a lot of fun riding their bikes and tractors. Collin even followed around in the walker..he thought he was pretty big stuff.

Family Vacation

We took a "family vacation" to Grand Island over the weekend. We stayed the first night at Mike's aunt and uncle's house, and then shopped in Grand Island. Then we drove the Kearney and stayed at Holiday Inn. They have waterslides there, so we just played and had fun. There were a lot of people in the pool in the evening...ball tournaments or something...so Kendra and Collin weren't too sure about swimming with all of the people and noise. We got up early the next morning, and there weren't nearly as many people, so they both had more fun. Kendra said "If there are lots of kids in the morning, I'll just have to get in there and be mean like they are"!!

Our Days...

The month of February has brought 3 rounds of the stomach flu to our house. Kendra came down with it the third time on Tuesday morning, and Collin got it Tuesday evening...we have been home ever since trying to get well. Collin is doing better, but it just seems to hang on for Kendra...hopefully this is all over soon!!

I think I would go crazy, except for all of the friends and family I have that have encouraged me, and put up with my phone calls!
