Trick or Treat

We took the kids trick or treating tonight. They had a lot of fun, as you can see by the smiles!

Snow Day

Today was a snow day....Kendra was disappointed that there was no school, because she was looking forward to the Halloween party, but she got over it quickly.
She shoveled part of the sidewalk and porch for me.

Collin was thinking it was a bit deep to walk in.

We decided to make a snowman.

And a snow angel.

Collin put his nose on, and Kendra did the face.

Here he is....too bad he melted so quickly.

Then we came in and had a snack of apples and caramel...yum!

My Girl

I was going to take the kids to get their pictures done this weekend, but Collin woke up from his nap right before it was time to go with a fever and not feeling well. So, since I had Kendra all ready to go, I decided to take a few pictures of her myself.

Sunday Afternoon at Cox's Ponds

We went to the pumpkin patch on Sunday afternoon. It was a perfect day to do it, almost a little hot! We had a lot of fun.

Collin didn't want to get out of the corn....and he put his boot to use. :)

School Picture Day

Yesterday was picture day at school. I took this picture of Kendra before she left. We had to practice smiling! :)

Mike's Birthday Party

I decided kind of last minute to have a party for Mike on Sunday. We had soups, veggies and dip, and cinnamon rolls instead of cake. It was a fun time spent with family. And, I realized I didn't take any pictures of Mike at his own party! Not sure how that happened, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't disappointed.

The kids were so excited when they woke up to this on Saturday morning. Collin kept saying "It's Christmas time!" They went out to play for a little bit, but it was cold so they weren't out long.

I got Collin this new stocking hat, but he refused to wear it.

He had to wear the Bley Trucking one instead.

Mike's Birthday

Mike's birthday was Friday. He was helping pick high moisture corn, but it started raining, so he got home around 8:00. I made a cake, and we gave him his present.

The kids were crafting that morning.

I think Collin and Kendra were much more excited than Mike about his birthday. Collin asked all day (Is it Daddy's birthday yet?)

Our Week

Collin and I got to visit Aaden for a little bit. So sweet!

Kendra helped me clean house.

Collin begged to spend the night at Grandma's house. I said yes, and here he is all ready to go. The only problem is he changed his mind when it came bedtime!

Piano Practice

Kendra started piano lessons this year. She is excited to learn how to play. I took this video of her practicing tonight.

We went to see Renee, Marty and family in the hospital this evening. It was so much fun to get to meet Aaden. He is such a cutie, and we loved getting to hold him!
