Spring Decorations

Just some recent pictures at our house....we have decorated for spring, even though it seems more like winter still.

I could not get this picture to load the right direction, not sure what is the problem. Collin and Kendra put bunnies on the front door. Collin insists that the bunnies stay in a row.

Yesterday we had a birthday party for Collin. I made and decorated the cake. It took a long time, and I know now what I should have done differently, but it was fun, and Collin loved it! More birthday pictures to follow....

Breakfast in Bed

Yesterday morning Kendra came into our room with breakfast...I woke up feeling happy! :)

Fun at the Lake

Mike has been getting the boat ready to use this summer, and we decided to take it up to the lake this evening and see if everything works right...it was a fun time.

Sunday Afternoon

We came home from church Sunday afternoon to see cattle being moved down main street. Collin thought that was pretty cool...I told Mike this kind of thing only happens in small towns! While we were fixing lunch, Kendra gave Collin a little make over...don't you love the blue lipstick?!

Play Time

Collin was taking care of his baby "Toria" the other night. It was so cute to watch. He would hold her and rock her, and be so gentle. :)

We have been to the park a few times lately...with the weather being so nice. The kids are loving it. Kendra rides her bike...she has learned how to ride without training wheels, and she is doing so good.

Collin has been wanting to wear his "Don Deere" hat every time we go outside. It is getting a wee bit small for him. Good thing he's getting a new one for his birthday. :)

Picnic Weather and New Toys!

I didn't have to work Thursday, and Kendra didn't have school, so the three of us had a wonderful day enjoying the beautiful weather. We decided to have a picnic lunch outside in the back yard. I also ordered a "Resurrection Set", and the kids are loving being able to play with it. I thought it was a neat decoration, and helps us all to remember what Easter means, and what took place.

Easter is Coming!

Just thought I would post some of the things I did for Valentine's Day...to remind you all that Easter is coming! :) I love to do this kind of thing for any occasion. I want to learn cakes too...I need more practice. I am going to try doing Collin's birthday cake, so I'll try to post pictures of how that goes afterwards...or maybe not if it is a total flop! :)
