What we've been up to

I haven't posted in quite awhile...not sure why, I guess nothing too exciting!

Tea Party

So, Kendra wanted a party with some of her friends this year. We had it all planned, and then she got sick, so this weekend we had her postponed party. It was lots of fun!

Mike took Collin out to the farm to play with his boy cousins....we figured that would be better than me trying to manage him at a tea party! I had to snap this picture when they got home. He was so dirty and worn out....I did wake him up when I took the picture though. :(

You Make Me Smile!

At MOPS yesterday, Collin made a snowman. When he showed it to me, it cracked me up, because he was so proud. The hat reminds me of Sir Topham Hatt's hat!! :) I thought the magnets were very fitting to display this piece of artwork.

Cousin Time

We watched Maycee and Ashton last night. It was a great time all in all! The kids had fun, and we only had one trip to the E.R. (See bottom of post!)

Collin decided to poke a popcorn hull up his nose (really far), and Mike and I spent an eternity trying to get it out. Finally Mike had to take him to the emergency room to get it out. Who would have thought?! If you ask Collin where popcorn belongs now, he will say "MOUTH"!!

More About My Big Boy

I am happy to say that potty training is going much better than I anticipated, although we aren't quite there yet. Also, last night he said good-bye to the crib and slept in the toddler bed! He had to sleep on top of Thomas, instead of his sheets. :)I probably should have done this long ago, but he was happy, so I figured why rush it! Notice he still sleeps all funky in his pajamas?!

Happy New Year

I took this picture on New Year's Day....it was the best of the 6! Why is it that you can get a really great picture of ONE kid, but very seldom one of both of them together?!

Clean and Cozy

I was trying to get a good picture of Collin the other night in his new bathrobe, but he wasn't cooperating very well until Kendra got in on things! It is softer than anything...wish it would fit me! :)

Family Get Away Time

We left the day after Christmas and went on a little trip. We went to Grand Island the first night, and did some shopping and swimming, and then we went to Kearney the second night and did the same. We had a great time!

Kendra had a blast on the waterslides, even though the place was packed. I counted 30 people in the hot tub that night! Granted, it is a big hot tub, but I think it was a tad bit full.

We made a little side trip to see the lights in Minden. So pretty.
