Kendra went to VBS at the Methodist church last week. She had lots of fun, especially since Maycee, Tommy, and Trace all went too. The first day was "Dive into Obedience", and Kendra took it to heart! She would get ready for bed without being asked...clean her room, etc...then say "Mommy, I'm obeying you!" The best was when on trash day I had already taken the kitchen trash out, and she came into the kitchen later and opened the cabinet, and got all upset. I asked her what was wrong, and she said..." I was going to take out the trash for you like they said at Bible School!" It was funny, but nice! :) They did really good with the songs and motions. I have some pictures, but the red eye was horrible...I couldn't get it out.

That sounds like the same one we just did - Take the Plunge! The songs are so fun. The boys are still singing the theme song (If you wanna go swimmin) and Jake's favorite is Obey-O. That's so neat that Kendra caught onto the obedience challenge. There's nothing like seeing your kids understanding spiritual things.
That is so neat that Kendra took the lesson to heart!! Kaylee went to VBS last week too. They had a contest to see whether boys or girls could bring the most school supplies for kids in Romaina. So each night either the boys or girls got the trophy for bringing the most. On Wednesday night after the boys had won, Kaylee prayed that the girls would win the trophy the next day. The things they learn at Bible School ;)
