Something New

We got this bulletin board for Collin for Christmas, and I just got around to hanging it up the other day. I hung it low enough that Collin could reach it. He loves displaying his art work now!

Birthday Weekend

My birthday was on Sunday, but I got to celebrate all weekend! On Friday night, we took the kids to see Alvin & the Chipmunks. My mother in law took me out for lunch at Pizza Hut on Saturday for lunch. Then that night Mike surprised me and took me out to my favorite barbecue restaurant to eat. I knew we were going, but didn't know that the kids weren't coming along. We got back to pick them up, and Kendra and grandma had made me a cake. My mom made lunch and my favorite cake on Sunday. Yummy! I feel very spoiled. :)

Collin's Big Bed

Collin has been asking for a big bed like Kendra's for quite awhile. So, we bought him a mattress set and put together the bed we had in the guest room for him. He was so excited when they brought it that he would not take a nap. He loves his new bed and tells me that every night. :)

Good Friends, Good Times

We had a long weekend since it was a holiday for Mike, so we headed to Wichita, Kansas to get together with some of our close friends that we have known since we were kids.

School Christmas Concert

Kendra's school Christmas concert was last night. It was fun to watch her and all of the kids. She told me during devotions that her favorite things are spelling and singing...I think she takes after me. :)

All About Collin

Since I now stay at home, Collin and I have been doing a lot of things together. We bake together, do dishes together, play trucks and trains, go for walks, paint, stamp.....it has been so much fun. He is constantly making me laugh with the things he says and does.

He really concentrates on his painting.

One afternoon Mike came home and said that he was going to the farm and asked if Collin could go. So, I quickly found some clothes that could get dirty. He looked down at them like this, and said "What is this shirt?" I told him it was a farm shirt. He made a face and said "Mom, I don't think some people would like to see me like this." Cracked me up!

Sleepover

Kendra had been wanting to have Maycee overnight for quite awhile, and I told her we could for her birthday. So, the other night we had Ashton over to play for awhile, and Maycee spent the night. They all had so much fun!

The girls fixed the boy's hair...they thought they were pretty cool stuff.

Kendra had gotten a set of horses to paint as a Christmas gift, so the girls painted horses.

They did all kinds of things and had lots of fun, but I didn't take too many pictures....they wanted to be left alone. :)
