Micah- 10 Months Old

Crawling. Pulling up to furniture. Said good-bye to pacifier. Happy. Full of Energy. LOVED!

Micah in July

A bunch of pictures I took of Micah in July. He is most definitely on the go, and you will see pictures with no pants simply because I give up on certain days getting him dressed!

I guess he wasn't happy with his snacks in his highchair minutes before....they were better on the floor. If you look closely at his outfit it says: Making a mess is what I do best. Haha!

This is how Micah plays Peek a Boo....he thinks he is hidden when he has his head covered.

He is always into the movies...

He likes to stand under the table...

And get into the cabinets...

But he is oh, so peaceful when he sleeps!

Independence Day

We went to Imperial and watched the fireworks on the 3rd. Micah liked them, but when the really bright ones went off he pulled his blanket over his head until they were over!

On the 4th, this is the kind of thing Micah did while the other kids and I made these cookies.

South Dakota-Rapid City

We ended our trip in Rapid City. We did some shopping and went to Storybook Island. The kids loved playing, and it was good to get out and walk.

The kids sat on the rides at the mall. They were having fun.

We went to Storybook Island the first day, and it came up and stormed, so we had to leave shortly after we got there. Collin was very interested in everything inside the train.

These were taken the next morning. We got there as soon as they opened so that we could get on the road when we were done.

Once again, Micah was napping. They have a really nice park right outside Storybook Island.

Notice the ducks sitting at the bottom? I thought it was part of the statue, but they were actually real!

South Dakota- Mt. Rushmore & Custer

After Evans Plunge we headed up to see Mount Rushmore. We saw buffalo along the road.

We took the trail around to see it closer and get some exercise. What we didn't realize was how many steps there would be. Mike and I definitely got our exercise, as he ended up carrying the stroller, and I ended up carrying Micah!

I was able to get some neat shots along the trail.

Someone offered to take our picture, but Micah was napping in the stroller, so he missed out.

We took a scenic drive back to Custer to our motel.

The kids thought the tunnels were fun.

South Dakota- Evans Plunge

The next morning we went to Evans Plunge. Collin liked going down this little frog slide.

Kendra liked this big winding slide. (So did I!)

Collin just enjoyed hanging out in the shallow water.

Then we discovered there was a pool and slide outside. Lots of fun!

Micah also swam, and he loved it. I didn't get any pictures of that because I was in the pool with him. It was nice warm water, and it made him sleepy!

It was definitely a highlight of our trip. We had a great time there!
