Father's Day Weekend

We went to North Platte on Saturday, and took the kids to Cody Park. They only got to ride 2 rides before a storm came in, but it was still a fun day.

I took these pictures before church on Sunday. The first one was good, except for Collin's eyes being shut...

So we tried again...

And then had to have a silly one. Mike thought it would be funny to turn Micah upside down. He kicked him in the face!

We went fishing that afternoon with Grandpa and Grandma Bley.

Collin put his line in and caught a fish right away. He was so excited.

Kendra had a lollipop break.

Collin loved throwing them back in.

And, the catch of the day!

All the while Micah hung out and napped.

Bathroom Renovations- Part 1

We have been wanting to redo our basement bathroom for quite awhile now, but did not have a shower in the bathroom upstairs. So, we decided to add a shower to the upstairs one before tearing into the bathroom downstairs. I am horrible about thinking to get "before" pictures, so this is more of a "in process" and then "after" picture. It is so nice to have a shower now, and fun to do new paint and decor.

Laundry Helper

Micah likes to help me with the laundry. He dumps it out for me, and Collin hauls the folded clothes to their proper places with the dump truck.

Collin found these slippers for Micah. He wasn't too sure about them.

Then he decided they were okay....until he could get them off!

Trains, Trains, Trains

Collin has a friend that is in high school that thought of him when cleaning out his closet. Collin was VERY excited to have another train that makes sounds and has a light. Thank you, Matthew!

Collin's Special Day

Friday June 3, 2011: Collin came in at lunch time and said "Mom, know what I did outside?" And I said "What did you do?" He said " I telled God into my heart!" So, I asked him if he meant asked Jesus into his heart, and he said that's what he meant. I talked to him about it and prayed with him again. He said "I just love God so much!" It was a special time, and I pray that he will always love God so much.

Micah- 9 Months Old

Micah is 9 months old! He is such a happy guy, and constantly on the move.

VBS 2011

I was in charge of snacks at VBS this year. I did a horrible job of taking pictures, but here are a couple of pictures that I took. The kids had a great time discovering the Rock of Ages!
