Big Sister, Big Brother

Kendra and Collin are excited to announce that they are going to have a little brother or sister!

October 11 is the due date. We are checking off the days on the calendar.

I had an ultrasound last week, and went to the doctor today. Got to hear the heartbeat both times. We are very excited!

Snack time and Work time

I came upstairs the other day, and found this. Collin had been working at it for some time, but still didn't get any crackers out. :)

He wanted to go out and help Mike work on the car. He had to have his hat and work gloves on just like Mike. He stayed out there quite awhile, even though it was cold.

Belated Birthday Party

Kendra's birthday was in December, but with everything going on with the holidays, and the sickness going around we decided to postpone her "friends" party it until later. So, we just finally got around to having it.

They did a craft.

Had cupcakes and ice cream.

And had a good time together!

February Creating

This is what we were up to around Valentine's Day. The kids love to do crafts, so I let them decorate these foam hearts.

Kendra spelled out "Jesus Cares For Us" on hers.


Collin helped me a lot during the day when I had a lot of baking to do. We had fun together.

Something New

We got this bulletin board for Collin for Christmas, and I just got around to hanging it up the other day. I hung it low enough that Collin could reach it. He loves displaying his art work now!

Birthday Weekend

My birthday was on Sunday, but I got to celebrate all weekend! On Friday night, we took the kids to see Alvin & the Chipmunks. My mother in law took me out for lunch at Pizza Hut on Saturday for lunch. Then that night Mike surprised me and took me out to my favorite barbecue restaurant to eat. I knew we were going, but didn't know that the kids weren't coming along. We got back to pick them up, and Kendra and grandma had made me a cake. My mom made lunch and my favorite cake on Sunday. Yummy! I feel very spoiled. :)

Mike bought me these tulips...so pretty.

The boys were excited for cake.

I am very thankful that Mom didn't put the full amount of candles on!
