Pumpkin Fun

I ordered these stick on pumpkin faces from Oriental Trading for the kids. They loved doing it, especially Collin! and, they glow in the dark!

I let them each do 2...they wanted to do more, but we ran out of pumpkins. :)

Kendra's New Bedroom

Kendra is finally all moved into her new bedroom that we started on in June! I know, it took a long time, but she is loving it! Here are some before/during/after pictures.

Old tile floor

The windows were so yucky and drafty that Mike had them covered with insulation.

Kind of a before/during picture...we painted the yellow closet doors white. I didn't get an after picture of that.

Working on it....

Collin helped Mike a lot with the floor.

After....except we still need to get her headboard and footboard connected to the frame. Mike has to drill some new holes and do some welding.

Now....on to Collin's room!

Projects

Mike put in a new fence on one side of the back yard...I am LOVING it!

I did this uppercase living project tonight...I think it turned out pretty cool!

Fall Flowers

I was outside on my lunch hour...it was a nice afternoon. I just had to snap a picture of my bright yellow mums.

Happy Birthday, Mike!

Today was Mike's birthday. This evening we grilled and had cake, and he opened his presents. Then we played games in the basement. It was a fun evening.

The kids helped him blow out candles.

We had to light them a second time.

They also had to help him open his presents.

Entertainment for Collin

This is what has been keeping Collin (and sometimes me) busy this week. He has not really done much of this kind of thing before, so not sure why all of the sudden.

He decided to lotion his whole semi truck and himself down...he had it everywhere. All he said when I asked him about it was "mmmm....baby" as he sniffed it!


Notice the globs on his neck and down his shirt.

I went in the bathroom, and he had all of the handles flipped up like this...it cracked me up.

And, I didn't get pictures of him after using Kendra's bright pink lip balm all over his face and clothes, but here is her half empty container for proof!
