MOPS fun day

Today our MOPS group got together to eat and play. The kids had a blast.

Summer Pictures

Here are just a couple of pictures of what has been going on for us....you will probably see a post overload, because I haven't been doing a very good job at keeping up!

Kendra took swimming lessons earlier this month. She did improve, but still won't go under water. Here she is learning to float.

We had trucks lined up by our house last Sunday clear up to the highway...the kids thought this was exciting! Wheat harvest is over for the Bley family, but there are still trucks going by, so it's not over for everyone.

1) What was I doing 10 years ago?1998- I was dating Mike, working at McCook Gazette and living in McCook. Mike proposed to me on December 21st, 1998!
2) What are 5 things on my to-do list for today? Do laundry, get a costume figured out for Kendra for VBS, mop my kitchen floor, make an anniversary card, fix supper...the list goes on, but it says 5!

4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire: I wouldn't know what to do!! Put money in savings for the kids, payoff all debt, help other people who need it, give to charity/missions
5) Places I have lived: North of Wauneta, South of Wauneta, McCook, in Wauneta!
6) Jobs I have had? Waitress, farm help, Newspaper layout, grocery store clerk, cleaning at Nursing Home, banking, and wife and mommy
7) People I want to know more about: Anyone who reads this that has not already been tagged.

UL Expression

I got this Uppercase Living Expression last spring, and had not gotten the project finished. Mike cut a board for me to paint, and also made the frame for it. It looks perfect above our bed! Now, on to the next project! :)

Fun Family Entertainment

Mike bought a little air hockey table on a garage sale. We have been having lots of fun with it in the basement. It's hard to get the kids to do anything else! :)

4th of July

We had a fun and full 4th of July. We went to North Platte that day, and did a little shopping while Mike did his Menards business, and then we came home and went to Marty and Renee's for food and fireworks. It was a really fun time! I forgot my camera in all the rush, but I did take one of the kids that morning, although they were not in the mood for a picture...this was the best I could do!

And, thank you to Renee for making my blog banner! She also took the pictures of the kids....I love them!
