More of our weekend

Saturday was really warm and nice, and Sunday we had snow! The kids liked both days...here are some more pictures of the weekend.

Beautiful Day!

Today is an absolutely beautiful day outside, it makes me anxious for Spring! Collin and I went outside and blew bubbles this morning (One of his latest words is bubble! He is saying a lot all of the sudden.) Then, we went out to Jeremy and Kara's for lunch, because Caitlin was out there. The kids had a lot of fun playing together.

Goodbye Lovely Stairs!

Our latest home project was to put new carpet on our basement stairs, and get rid of those dangerous metal plates on the edges of them...I cannot tell you how happy I am to have this done! After Mike got done with it, we both said at the same time..."Why didn't we do this a long time ago?" We found a carpet remnant, so it didn't cost very much at all, and they are so much softer, and fit my decor just a little better. :)

Valentine's Day

Here are some pictures from our Valentine's Day. It was a fun day. Grandma Margaret came and visited, we played, had grilled steak and other yummy stuff for supper, and went out to Marty and Renee's for awhile in the evening.

We made pink pancakes for breakfast. Collin had to help mix.

Marker Spinning and Cookie Snatching

Collin has these markers for toddlers, but he is much more interested in spinning them than writing with them. :) The other day when we made cookies, Collin just could not wait to get his hands on one. He did get one down and take a bite without me noticing, by the way!

The Last Week

We have been sick at our house, but are all doing much better. This is what we've been up to recently.

Kendra wanted to have a picnic on a really cold day, so we had a "picnic" of sorts on the kitchen floor. The kids loved it! :) Oh, and yes, once in awhile Collin wears his pajamas all day.


We made chocolate chip cookies and Kendra sprinkled them red for Valentine's Day.

Fun New Stuff!

My mother in law gave me a new wall hanging for my birthday, and I bought myself a new bench for my entryway at the front door with Christmas and birthday money. I also bought a new shade. I think it will be nice to have a bench for putting on shoes, and storing gloves and hats.
