Church at Home

Sunday morning both kids had fevers, so we had church at home. Kendra played the piano and had a little sermon about "life and love", and I read a devotional. Collin really liked the music!

We watched Tommy and Trace the other night...the kids had a lot of fun!

Collin loves to climb up on our fireplace ledge and sit there. He thinks he's pretty big stuff!

Collin is on the go!

Collin has mastered walking now...he is so funny, because he puts his arm out, almost like if he does that he will get there faster or something!! He also likes to walk with his push toy...only he pulls it around now walking backwards! Kendra thinks it is great. She says Collin is a big kid like her now, because he can walk!

Collin has been walking behind his tractor for quite awhile now. His favorite thing is to "push" Kendra! Yesterday he took 3 steps...from me to Kendra! The babysitter said she hadn't seen him do it yet, so that made me feel good...I actually got to see it the first time! I think he will be walking soon!

Easter

We had a Happy Easter. We had Easter at Mike's parents on Friday evening...supper, egg hunting and a movie. Then on Easter day we went to breakfast and the egg devotional at church, and Kendra hunted eggs. Some had candy, some had the symbols from the egg devotional, and some were empty..for the empty tomb. Kendra sang with the preschoolers in the Easter Musical, and then we went to Marty and Renee's for dinner. It was a lot of fun.

Easter Egg Glitz!

What better thing to do on a nasty snowy day than "glitter" Easter eggs!! We colored them yesterday afternoon and glittered them this morning...Kendra did quite well and didn't make a mess at all. As you can see, we made Collin stick with the plastic egg and corralled in his highchair! They turned out really pretty. The picture doesn't do them justice!
